The BSCTA is Movin

Up the street that is. We will be moving our BSCTA office to 45 Third Ave. over the vacation. We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to purchase the building and invest in our future. We bought the property from a roofing company, and to say it needed a little TLC would be an understatement! The building needed to be gutted and cleaned from top to bottom. We are not quite finished, but I think our efforts could be highlighted on one of HGTV’s home improvement shows as a very successful boost to the value of our investment.

I would like to thank every one of our members who chipped in to help. We had volunteers give up their precious weekend days to come and scrape wallpaper, tear up carpeting, paint, and clean, clean, clean.

This purchase is an investment in our future and will help strengthen the foundation of the BSCTA. When we get settled in we will have an "office warming" party in the spring and we hope to see all of our members there. After all, this is YOUR union office.
